When you purchase a new pair of specs with us you don’t see everything that is included with your glasses

You see the new case for maximum protection, the complimentary cleaning cloth. the care taken when measuring you, the final adjustment on collection to ensure a comfortable fit. this you do see

What you don’t see.

  • The hard coat on your lens to help protect it from scratching
  • The special glue on the rim screw to stop the screw coming out
  • 1st year no quibble warranty on lenses & frames subject to normal wear & tear
  • Free screws & nosepads
  • Free Adjustments
  • Free minor repairs and adjustments

Repair Service

If you have broken your specs we can usually repair them on the premises immediately. More complicated repairs such as solders or replacement joints can be sent way and returned in a few days for a small charge.

Temporary Repair Service

If you have broken your side and can’t manage without your specs, we will fit a temporary side so you can use your glasses while we order a replacement.

If you have completely broken your specs but your lenses are OK, we can generally re-cut old lenses to fit a new frame, sometimes while you wait, but usually within an hour.

We are happy to adjust, repair or replace specs purchased anywhere,  not just ones that we originally supplied



Our on-site workshop


We have our own spectacle laboratory here on site. This means we can offer a one hour service for distance or reading lenses. (For most prescriptions) If we are putting new lenses into your own frame we do not not need to take them off you until we have the lenses. When we can fit them in one hour. We can also tint sunglasses and do minor repairs on site.
