We first opened our doors in Cheriton Place 21 years ago in 1988. The practice outgrew the original premises, which is now an Italian ice cream parlour. A larger building became available across the road and this has been the home of Chris Adams Opticians of Folkestone ever since. The practice is wheelchair friendly and close to the local shopping centre and transport facilities.
We have two consulting rooms and uniquely for Folkestone, a workshop on the premises. 99% of spectacles are made within the practice which significantly reduces the time it takes to supply them to you.
Sight tests and consultations with our Opthalmic Medical Practitioners and Optometrists are available six days a week by appointment.
We stock a wide variety of designer frames everything from the urban Dirty Dog to the sophistication of ELLE and Calvin Klein. For children we have a wide a varied selection in both metal and plastic frames, which are covered by the voucher scheme.
